A community craft fair will be held in Tamworth this weekend to raise funds for St John Ambulance and support its first aid work across the area.
The Tamworth Craft Fair will take place on Sunday, 2 August, from 10am to 3pm at the St John Ambulance Training Centre on Moor Street.
Local makers will sell handmade gifts, home decorations and a range of craft items, with money raised helping the charityβs Tamworth volunteers continue providing first aid cover and community training.
St John Ambulance has served the Tamworth area for more than 110 years, supporting public events and helping residents develop lifesaving first aid skills.
In recent months, local volunteers have provided first aid cover at the Shenstone Village Festival, the Tamworth Gate Gallop and the 2026 Midlands Nautique Wake Open.
The team also delivers first aid awareness sessions for local organisations, community groups and families, helping more people feel prepared to respond during an emergency.
Residents are invited to attend the fair, support independent makers and learn more about the work carried out by St John Ambulance volunteers.
The event runs from 10am until 3pm at the St John Ambulance Training Centre, Moor Street, Tamworth, B79 7QZ.
