The weekend will see special offers and children’s activities such as tennis games, soft play and splash sessions. Visitors can also expect free fitness classes, taster football lessons, free table tennis and swimming taster lessons and sessions.

The nine centres taking part over the two days are: Wyndley Leisure Centre, Beeches Pool & Fitness Centre, Billesley Tennis & Fitness Centre, Erdington Leisure Centre, Fox Hollies Leisure Centre, Stechford Leisure Centre, Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre, Ladywood Leisure Centre and Northfield Leisure Centre.

“We love the Big Open Weekend as it gives us a chance to showcase everything that’s good about our centres. The weekend gives visitors the opportunity to try out our facilities for free, and experience the kind of fun, inclusive and friendly sessions we offer at each centre.

“To see what’s on offer and to book activities, visit our website. We look forward to welcoming you this weekend!”

“We are also pleased to announce that for this year’s Big Open Weekend, we will be supporting the Acorns charity.”
